Frequently Asked Questions

Answers before you get in touch

CV Edge is built for jobseekers at every stage who want clear, practical support grounded in real hiring and management experience.

Who is CV Edge for?

CV Edge is for jobseekers at every stage who want professional career coaching, clearer resumes, stronger selection criteria, or interview preparation. We work most often with public-sector, WA Government, emergency services, operations, leadership and career transition clients.

How much do your services cost?

Packages start from $129 for a resume review and strategy call, $349 for a full resume rewrite, $579 for resume plus selection criteria, and $789 for resume, selection criteria and LinkedIn. Selection criteria support is quoted after review. Final pricing depends on role complexity, document condition and deadline.

How long does the process take?

Most projects are completed within 5-10 business days after scope, payment and source material are confirmed. Timing depends on workload, role complexity and your deadline. We confirm timing before work starts.

Can you help with WA Government or public-sector applications?

Yes. CV Edge can help with resumes, cover letters, job description forms, selection criteria and statements addressing the criteria for public-sector and local government applications. We are familiar with WA Government application requirements and current panel assessment approaches.

Do you guarantee I will get an interview or job?

No. CV Edge cannot guarantee an interview or job offer. The aim is to make your application clearer, stronger and better aligned to the role.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. All client documents and personal details are handled confidentially and are never shared without permission.

Do you offer interview preparation or mock interviews?

Yes. CV Edge offers interview preparation and career coaching. Sessions can include a role-specific mock interview, structured answer coaching, delivery feedback, and help clarifying how to position your experience.

What are STAR and SAO frameworks?

STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action, Result. SAO stands for Situation, Action, Outcome. Both are common ways to structure examples in Australian applications and interviews. We use whichever framework best suits the role, page limit, application instructions and assessment process.

Do you offer payment plans?

Payment options can be discussed during consultation. In most cases, work begins after payment confirmation.
